Barnacles!
Maybe it’s because we’ve been reading and watching too much “Pirates of the Caribbean” lately, but that’s what I’m seeing when I look at Garfield’s face. Barnacles. And algae. And layers of other maritime ick.
For some reason, though, Boots thinks it’s cute. That adoration is the only thing that’s keeping Garfield out of the garbage.
