Tales from the classroom and "easy" pop quiz questions that turned out to be anything but:
A teacher asked students about a famous tennis player whose initials are AA and who once was married to a Calvin Klein model. The teens were astounded that Brooke Shields had ever been anything other than a mother who talks about being depressed.
Gee, I haven't felt that old since one of my nieces referred to records as "those big, funny-looking CDs." And I now know how my mom felt when I thought Joe DiMaggio was nothing more than the Mr. Coffee pitchman.
