Flight of the Bumblebees Week 9

What started in August under a blazing summer sun ended yesterday ... well, under a blazing summer sun. I'm accepting that as compensation for the rainy, cold game earlier this season.
It was wonderful getting to know all the little Sharks this season, seeing them grow game by game. I particularly enjoyed watching the kids we were with last year. Especially one specific guy who stopped roughly 3 million goals yesterday. Amazing!
And as happy as I am to reclaim Saturdays, it's also going to be a little weird next weekend to not hassle Big Guy into his uniform and head off to his favorite part of the week.
Coach Joey and Kim, thank you so much for everything, this season and last. It's been a blast.
