If you have to be in school on Halloween, what better way to spend the day than at the pumpkin patch?
From the excitement of a ride on a school bus to the thrill of picking out a pumpkin, that's the way Big Guy and his 19 kindergarten friends spent Friday.
The folks at our favorite pumpkin patch did it up right for them, helping them plant broccoli, showing them an emu and helping them feed fish, while dressed up as everything from police to Dog the Bounty Hunter. Dog managed to avoid arrest this time.
Mommy won some street cred when one cop showed them corn you could pop, right on the cob. The "oh, you were right" look on Big Guy's face was priceless. The down side: He's now sworn off popcorn because he hates "corn macabre."
